I just finished my Bachelor in Environmental Sciences at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland. My Bachelor Thesis focused on the influence of flow intermittency on biodiversity in alpine streams. As part of my Masters I am working as an intern with the freshwater group here in Dunedin. My work includes analysing plant pollen in sediment cores and collecting data to develop sustainable management plans for lakes and estuaries.
